How to spot someone who is adopting internationally…

You know youโ€™re adopting internationally when:

๐ŸŒŽ Piles of documents take over almost every flat surface in your house (yes, Iโ€™m organized…itโ€™s just a ridiculous amount of paperwork!)
๐ŸŒŽ You anxiously await the mail for Immigration paperwork daily and celebrate when they arrive ๐ŸŒŸ
๐ŸŒŽ You get your finger prints done…AGAIN๐Ÿ•ต๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
๐ŸŒŽ You send said fingerprints to get cleared and approved…AGAIN ๐Ÿ•ต๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ•ต๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ
๐ŸŒŽ You drive yourself (and probably your spouse) crazy by reading and re-reading each document and email from your agency explaining what to do with each document.
๐ŸŒŽ You re-organize the documents that need to be notarized (Thanks Kelsi!) 5 times and then plan your day around going to the Secretary of States office to get each notarized document appostilled (donโ€™t know what that is? I didnโ€™t either until 5 years ago๐Ÿคช)
๐ŸŒŽ When someone calls to ask about an event in April you say, โ€œSorry, my husband and I are blocking off that month to travel to pick up our daughter from Bulgariaโ€ ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
๐ŸŒŽ You recognize the accent of a nurse as being from Eastern Europe and sheโ€™s impressed I know what country she is from (a bordering country of Bulgaria).
๐ŸŒŽ You watch videos and look at pictures of your daughter everyday and marvel that the day has final come that you have a child to marvel at ๐Ÿฅฐ
And yup! Thatโ€™s how you can spot a family adopting internationally ๐ŸŒŽDFE80CFA-2554-4190-B5D4-586AD4819ADE
